Revenue and Rating Plan 2025-2029 Adopted

The Revenue and Rating Plan is a four year plan that outlines the Rural City of Wangaratta’s decision-making process on how revenues are calculated and collected and is a requirement of the Local Government Act 2020. This Revenue & Rating Plan 2025-29 simplifies the rating structure to ensure more equitable treatment of landowners based on land use, value, and the benefits received from Council services.

Between December 2024 and January 2025, 138 community members actively participated in our engagement efforts, providing valuable insights that have shaped our new plan.

The Plan was adopted at the 27 May 2025 Council meeting.
