What is a Council Plan?

The Council Plan is an important document that outlines our goals and priorities for the next four years. It explains how our newly elected Councillors will work to meet the community's needs and expectations. The Council Plan also incorporates the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan.

    What is a Community Vision?

A Community Vision describes our community’s long-term aspirations for the future. It's a big-picture statement that guides all of Council's decisions and actions.

Our current vision was developed by our community and adopted by Council in 2021. Through this engagement, we want to make sure that the current vision statement continues to reflect the future aspirations and priorities of everyone in our community.

What is a Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan?

The Council Plan will incorporate goals and actions to improve the health and wellbeing of our community, this is known as a Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan.

What is a 10 Year Financial Plan

The 10 Year Financial Plan is a long-term plan to finance projects, initiatives and programs that our community thinks are most important. It will allocate funding for the delivery of the priorities and actions identified in the Community Vision and Council Plan and ensures ongoing funds are in place for the essential services that Council provides on a daily basis.
