What is a Council Plan?
Council Plan is an important document that outlines our goals and priorities for the next four years. It explains how our newly elected Councillors will work to meet the community's needs and expectations. The Council Plan also incorporates the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan.
What is a Community Vision?
A Community Vision describes our community’s long-term aspirations for the future. It's a big-picture statement that guides all of Council's decisions and actions.
Our current vision was developed by our community and adopted by Council in 2021. Through this engagement, we want to make sure that the current vision statement continues to reflect the future aspirations and priorities of everyone in our community.
What is a Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan?
The Council Plan will incorporate goals and actions to improve the health and wellbeing of our community, this is known as a Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan.
How will my feedback be used?
Your feedback will be used to inform the next Council Plan 2025-2029 and review of our Community Vision.
All feedback will be carefully considered. Findings will be documented in an Engagement Summary Report which will be made publicly available.
We will also consider feedback as part of the development of our draft 2025/26 Budget, Long Term Financial Plan and our Asset Plan.
