Training, Placement & Transport Study
We are investigating if transport is a major challenge for young people, job seekers and adult learners in accessing education and training opportunities.
The goal is to determine if a mobility program is needed and, if so, how could it work, and what models would be sustainable?
Before we explore possible solutions, we need to understand:
What transport challenges you face when accessing education or training
What types of support or solutions would make a difference
If there is community interest in shared or subsidised transport options
We want to hear from:
Residents aged 16–25
Jobseekers and career changers
Adult learners and up-skillers
Parents & carers of school leavers
Training providers and employers
This survey closes Friday, 17 October, 2025.
This initiative stems from the 2024–2029 Economic Development and Tourism Strategy, which identified workforce development as a key priority.
