Council has developed a draft Financial Plan 2025-2035.
We want to ensure Council has the capacity to achieve our Community Vision and the Council Plan.
The Financial Plan plans our future spending, saving and investment so we can continue delivering and maintaining our services and infrastructure. Strategies outlined in the Plan will feed into our budgeting as well as other strategic planning documents within Council’s Integrated Planning Framework.
The Draft Financial Plan has been developed over the past 10 months with the Council Plan and Community Vision. These documents have come together with the contributions of more than 2,000 people and 3,200 ideas from the community and service providers working in the municipality. The draft Financial Plan has considered feedback from this process, as well as feedback from Council's Rates, Revenue and Spending Priorities Survey.
The Local Government Act 2020 requires all councils to publish a 10 year Financial Plan following each council election.
