Why are these boat ramps being upgraded?
We’ve received funding from the Victorian Fisheries Authority to develop draft plans (concept designs) for improvements at Templeton Street and Frank Garth Reserve.
Why were Templeton Street and Frank Garth Reserve chosen?
Council originally applied for funding for four boating locations. However, the funding body approved two sites, Templeton Street and Frank Garth Reserve, for concept design development.
Will access roads (like Parfitt Rd) be upgraded?
Yes, Parfitt Road will be upgraded to support the Frank Garth Reserve Boat Ramp
Will this impact Aboriginal cultural heritage sites?
Yes, Further heritage investigation will take place
Will council be funding the build?
No, Council will use these concept designs to apply for further funding to support the construction stage
